But when you go into the history of these crafts, you will see that all artefacts were created as utilities only. As man progressed, these art forms got confined and limited to small tribes and clusters. They were taken over by plastic and other cheaper materials that were easily replicable and commoditized for mass use. That is when these handcrafted utility items became a rare commodity. This phenomenon led to two things: The art that got re-discovered became well known and have a good market.

The tribes and artisans that got isolated in remote parts of the country got neglected and found no market. Those arts became lost or much localized.

Our endeavour is to find these lesser known tribes and get their handicrafts and vibrant arts to your doorstep for your appreciation. We also hope to eliminate the middleman and provide a transparent selling channel to these artisans with a worldwide customer base.

Our purpose is not just sales, but to create a dialogue between the creator and the buyer. We aim to create a platform for co-creation, where patrons like you will give back to the tribal, rural folk and the manufacturing community helping them keep the art forms and good practices alive.
