  • If you are an entrepreneur at heart, you will be able to have a hands-on experience of handling a business, the finances, marketing and taking critical decisions.
  • However, there is an equally high responsibility of handling the finances as well as the health and safety of the staff and the children, thus financial and security risk is high.

The location should be away from any kinds of traffic in a pollution free area.
  2. Availability of adequate space: An estimate of the numbers of children you want to care for will give you an idea of how much space you will require.
  3. Basic facilities: While designing your facility you also have to keep in mind that basic amenities like bathrooms should be available and is maintained. A well fenced and protected play yard and a convenient kitchen for preparing snacks.
  4. Scheduling the time: The opening and closing time of your daycare should be as such that the guardians of the children have no problem in leaving and receiving their child.

  • Advertise in newspapers: Post online advertisements and at schools where you think your possible clients can come from. Let people know you are open for business.
  • Meet parents and guardians: Talk to them about the facilities available in your daycare.
  • Learn on the run: Keep taking feedbacks from the guardians of the children. Ask them about their reviews and where you can make improvements.
