The burning desire to get started and contribute towards the development of the country came to Mr G Kiran Sagar from the book VISION 2020 by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam who said, “India must stand up to the world. Because I believe that unless India stands up to the world, no one will respect us. Only strength respects strength.” And Yuva Bengaluru was thus born to recognize and nurture the strength of young and enthusiastic individuals.

Background
Yuva Global is the brainchild of Mr Kiran Sagar who recognizing his obligations towards the society and the need to bring about a positive change. The idea of starting a youth organization was discussed with a few other friends and a harmonious group of ten individuals started out with what today has about 1000 volunteers and many more patrons.
The official Start of Yuva Global as a Non Profit Organization began in September 2008 and it has grown into a fully fledged organization. This journey of more than two years has prepared us to take on the challenges that we may be faced with and to move forward with whatever it takes for us to achieve our primal goals: Educate, Empower, Enable.
