A bit of writing, a bit of marketing and a lot of reading up to keep up with the business and online marketing world.

One particular skill you got right and gave you best results…

Writing digital copy.

What have been your biggest challenges in running your Business so far?

Writing effectively for the digital world means having an understanding of how things work with search engines and social media and also about how people read online. The challenge is to make my clients understand these things, and that writing less to get the same message across needs more skill than writing pages and pages of ‘content’.

How did you overcome these challenges?

Its a work in progress, always 🙂

What have you found the most effective way to get new clients?

Blogging

What advice to you give to other business owners?

Even a wonderful product and business can sink if it is not marketed well; and marketing in the digital world is primarily content and infographics. Try to integrate them in your strategy as early as possible.
