Founders
Both the founders are aged 19 and pursuing their bachelor’s degree from the University of Mumbai. They are childhood friends and now business partners who constantly set different shot term goals which makes them own a couple of startups.
When Started: 25th May, 2013.
What motivated you to start your Business?
We did not have a ‘Eureka’ moment that inspired or motivated us to create Photodilse. To be honest it started as a random thought which struck one of our founders while sitting in our college canteen. Photodilse was planned to start as a group project which would have several administrators taking care of specific duties. But after about a month in November, 2012 most of its ‘So-Called’ founders bailed out and the team now only had the two of us. Two friends who decided to start all over again and after 6 months Photodilse.com was finally launched.

Our website is basically a pool of several national and international photographers who share their world-class photographs and priceless knowledge of photography. We have featured and continue to feature interviews of amateur as well as professionals from the field of photography.
What is a Day in a life of you like?
[Sticking to the business only] We spend a lot of time in explaining the concept of Photodilse to various photographers and personals related to the field. The next step is to make them understand the process of featuring their interviews/photographs and the steps involved.As our company consists of 2 of us; the next step is to edit the interview and then publish it along with the submitted photographs of the artist. The work doesn’t end here, the final step being promoting the published interview and images on several social networking websites.
One particular skill you got right and gave you best results.
We believe that one should be able to market their product convincingly. There were incidences when we heard several refusals on the trot but after subtle changes in the marketing strategy the same refusals turned into approvals.
What have been your biggest challenges in running your Business so far?
Well to be really honest deficiency of ‘Vitamin M’ is our major problem.! We are right now looking for sponsors who can help us fund our website by means of advertising or any other monetary means.
How did you overcome these challenges?
Currently we are funding our business by investing the hard earned savings and some money created from part time work.
What have you found the most effective way to get new clients?
The Social Network – Helps us reach clients/photographers and potential sponsors from all over the world.
What advice do you give to other business owners?
Trust your ideas and gets started. It’s the toughest thing to do.
How did you keep motivated through difficult times?
Our goal to make Photodilse the best Photography website in the world keeps us motivated all the time.
Your Achievements
We house interviews and photographs of more than 35 world-class photographers and with every month the count is increasing.
What is your favorite quote?
We have been appreciated; We have been criticized but what makes us glad is that, ‘We have done something about which people are talking..’
Who inspires you?
The reason to live a better life inspires the both us all the time.
