Team: The founders of the company include Aditya Kumar Batra, a technology expert who has completed his post graduation (MCA) from IP university, and Rajat Kumar, another youngster who has always focused on logistics as a business to work on. Rajat at the age of 19 was successful in setting up his own warehouse in UP which measured 1.2 lac square feet in area.

When Started: Launched on 5th Nov , 2012

What motivated you to start your Business?

First of all, right since my childhood, I had a business ambition. I’ve always wanted to do something of my own, rather than working under anyone else.

Secondly, being a shopping freak and a frequent online shopper, I have noticed several times that e-commerce companies suffer from the problem of late deliveries and indifferent attitude of delivery boys, which obviously leaves a bad impression on the minds of customers, including me. It not only gives the servicing company a bad name, but also creates discontent with the whole online shopping concept among the customers.

It was then that a business idea sparked off in my mind, and I decided to contribute something towards overcoming the biggest problem of the e-commerce service in India, i.e. LOGISTICS. That was how vdeliver.co.in was conceptualized, with the goal of enabling and accelerating the growth of e-commerce business in India.

Vdeliver is a technology focused company which aims at solving the problem of logistics for e commerce companies in India, thereby enabling e commerce growth in India.

The company is into the business of providing logistics services to the e commerce companies in India  A brief about the services is mentioned

What is a Day in a life of you like?

To me each new day means a new hope, a chance to explore new opportunities and face new challenges, thus emerging as a better version of myself with each passing day.

One particular skill you got right and gave you best results.

My practical thinking and my easy-going yet serious approach to my works and my goals have always given me the best of results towards to building a logistics company that aims at improving the e-commerce scenario in the country.

What have been your biggest challenges in running your Business so far?

Training the delivery boys and smooth handling of products have been the biggest challenges in running this business so far. I have personally discussed things with my field executives (delivery boys) so that they have a friendly attitude towards customers and treat their products with care and concern. Each product is handled very carefully by them.

How did you overcome these challenges?

Giving proper time and setting example by delivering goods on my own to show them how a customer should be treated helped me in overcoming those challenges.

What have you found the most effective way to get new clients?

We don’t call our clients as Clients, we call them by Associates as we associate their problem, business and customers with us , Thus building a strong trust and having a clear relation has been the most effective way to get new clients.

What advice do you give to other business owners?

I’m just in the initial phase of entrepreneurship and as such, I’m still learning from the business world around me. Yet, my business mantra would be, “Keep it simple and clear”.

How did you keep motivated through difficult times?

My big dreams and aspirations, and my deep desire to fulfill them, keep me persevering even through the difficult times.

What are your Marketing, Funding and Team Building Strategy?

As famously quoted by Peter F. Drucker ,”The aim of marketing is not to find right customer for your product or service, the aim is to know and understand the customer so well the product or service fits him and sells itself.” So our marketing strategy is to understand the needs of our customers, adopt an empathetic attitude to their problems and devise solutions that we would have devised for ourselves. Thus we focus to build long term relationship with our clients/customers/associates that mutually benefits us both.

we profess to build a strong team that continuously strives to work together to achieve the objectives and goals of the company with great zeal and alacrity.

Your Achievements?

I have always been a school scholar and entering entrepreneurship at the young age of 19 is my biggest achievement.

Whats your favorite quote?

I read it somewhere – The best way to predict the future is to create it.

Who inspires you?

David Ogilvy or popularly known as FATHER OF ADVERTISING has inspired me . His four principles –

1. Research. 2. Professional Discipline 3.Creative brilliance 4. Results for clients.
